About Eric Michael Roberts:
Eric received his BA in music education in 2000 from Wright
State University in Dayton, Ohio. He has been teaching private lessons
in guitar, voice and drums for over 10 years as well as perfoming and
leading worship professionlly for more than 5 years. Eric, as a songwriter
and producer, has recorded 7 albums and has traveled with several bands
performing music on stage as the lead guitar player and vocalist. After
building a successful private recording and lesson studio, Eric shifted
to writing and developing the 8 Chords 100 Songs guitar program and
now teaches students across the globe to learn fast, play well and worship
always.

About the online school:
After receiving a bachelor of music education from Wright State University
I began writing more and more about the guitar and how it works in worship
music. I have now developed an extraordinary program for teaching you
how to play the guitar that includes everything from the beginning to
the intermediate level of music theory, scales, chords, technique and
the best worship songs of the modern church as well as some of the most
popular hymns and choruses. I have seen students in my one day workshops
come with a guitar and no experience and leave playing 4 chords and
the most popular worship songs of our day including "How Great
is Our God" In an effort to bring my new method to modern media
streams and to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to study
with me and learn the guitar, I developed a new video series and now
offer the complete program in a structured, graded online format
that is easy to learn.
I was 17 years old and heading down a really wrong path. A close friend gave his heart to Jesus and then hunted me down every day at school and harassed me to accept Jesus Christ. On November 3, 1994, I accepted Jesus into my life on the "Somewhere in Nowhere" hill in my back yard. The day I repeated that prayer to be saved, I was changed forever. That day, I saw everything in a different way. I have never stopped seeing with new eyes. I recently wrote a song called "I Saw New". Without Jesus, I would not be here today and I must give to Him the praise for everything that has happened to me since I surrendered my life to Him. It is my prayer that you will find a deeper meaning in the music and experience a true relationship with Jesus Christ. Psalm 40:3 "He has put a new song in my heart, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see it and fear and will put their trust in God."
